Hitchin’ Post Iron has been serving the Sierra Vista area for over 35 years. In 1978, Dick Ward started Hitchin’ Post in Sierra Vista, specializing in trailer hitches and welding repair. Then, in 1989, Dick’s son Richard Ward climbed aboard, bringing an expertise in structural steel fabrication. Two years later, Richard became the sole proprietor. Over the years our growth has led to incorporating and relocating to a larger, more efficient facility in 1998 where we currently reside. Richard, along with his wife Tammy, successfully built Hitchin’ Post Iron into Cochise County’s largest structural steel fabrication and repair shop! Recently, Richard and Tammy have moved on to the next chapter of their lives and put Hitchin’ Post Iron into the hands of Brandon and Dominic Moss.
